Meet with me

As part of my commitment to increasing transparency in local governance, I will be publishing a record of the names of people I have met with in my role as city councillor for Ward 4, along with the name of their associated organizations and the date of the meeting.

This public disclosure of meetings will be shared on my web site and will be updated on an ongoing basis. It will not include internal meetings with my council colleagues or city staff.

If you would like to meet with me, please submit this form outlining the topic you would like to discuss and the dates and times that would work for you.

By submitting this form requesting a meeting, you are consenting to me publishing your name, the date of our meeting and the name of your associated organization, if applicable, in my public disclosure of meetings. You understand that this disclosure of meetings will be publicly available on my web site.

Note: requests for confidential meetings—for example, where a resident has filed a confidential complaint regarding bylaw enforcement—will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please indicate the reason you are requesting confidentiality when you submit your request. In these cases, I will include a general description of the meeting and the date of the meeting but I will not identify you by name.

Have not heard anything regarding our complaint regarding snowplowing / we have two damaged plate-glass windows here at The Pristine Olive and enough is enough.

Hi Jesse – my name is Dave Griffiths and you know me from your visits to the Western Fair Village Market.

You also have visited my son’s store The Pristine Olive on Adelaide at Grosvenor.

I would like to discuss our concern regarding the snow plowing along Adelaide.

The plow must be travelling at a very high rate of speed due to the fact they spray sand, salt and heavy snow covering the pilon sign (at least 15 feet high) and more importantly all of the large plate-glass windows at the front of the store.

Our concern is obviously damage but fear they will break the windows which are very costly and will damage all the product inside the store and therefore cause a closer.

There are already some repairs required to the seals around the windows and feel this is totally irresponsible on the part of the drivers.

Please meet with me to resolve this situation before it becomes a major expense.

Hi Jesse – Dave Griffiths from the Pristine Olive (we have met a number of times at the Western Fair Market) I sell the olive oils and balsamics across from Fireroast.

My son just rebuilt 884 Adelaide St. N. and is holding his Grand Opening on Saturday, June 24th from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

We would love to see you drop in – the surrounding community has been very thankful he has taken a run down building and made it into an almost new structure.

Topic: London Transit – offering free transit to those under a specific age (12/13) and subsidizing passes for other segments of the population.

Jesse – I started an email about this but thought a chat would be easier (plus I haven’t seen you in a while). Given that I live in Stephen’s Ward feel free to extend this invitation to him (or any content/outcomes from our meeting)

While the next couple of weeks are a bit hectic I can most likely be flexible to meet any meeting timing needs.

Good afternoon Clr. Helmer. I have left a message with Council office staff to have you call me but have not heard back from you as of yet. Could you please call me at your convenience to set a meeting with me and possibly one other individual from the London Taxi Association? I look forward to your response.

I’m seeking a meeting as the chair of the London East Historical Society to discuss Industrial Heritage concerns in East London. In particular I’d like to discuss the evolving situations at the Kellogg’s and McCormick’s sites, and the Historical Society’s upcoming recommendations on industrial heritage preservation in the area. I’m free to meet in the morning or early afternoon any day next week.
